Gener Cunanan of Annandale, Virginia sent us the following e-mail on September 29, 2004;

"Mark,

I wanted to say thanks again for the wonderful opportunity! It was tons of fun and also a great learning experience. After this, I hope to one day have a kart of my own. Hopefully you'll be able to keep the arrive and drive program going and maybe I can come back next year. Good luck and please let me know if there is anything I can do to help promote your program and business.

Gener"

Steve Gill Steve Gill Took advantage of the Arrive and Drive Program in October 2004.  It allowed him  and his son Pearson to team up in a TAG/80cc Cadet relay race at the Great Pumpkin Race weekend at Beaverun.  The happy team went home with a big second place trophy.

The Bergfelt Racing Enterprises, LLC Arrive and Drive program is an opportunity to try kart racing in first class equipment, at a world-class facility, without making a major investment in racing equipment.  It is an opportunity to drive a race kart, knowing that expert technical help is always there, and a successful driver with over 33 years of kart racing experience is there to coach you along the way.
Our arrive and drive program is centered around CRG Chassis, the most successful kart chassis in the world.  The karts are powered by the Rotax Max Fr125 two stroke engine.   These engines are user friendly enough for new drivers, but potent enough to satisfy a seasoned veteran racer.

We ask that arrive and drive participants show up at the track with their own Snell 2000 full face helmet, kart driving suit, neck collar, and gloves.  Of course, B.R.E. offers these items for sale.  Those individuals who do not have these items can rent them from BRE.

If a driver has no prior kart racing experience, at least one of these must be a practice day.  Any of the Beaverun Track Championship events can be booked as well as many of the practice days.  Please contact us for dates that are open.

Arrive and drive participants are responsible for paying all track rental fees, their own pit passes, transponder rental, and etc.  The arrive and drive fee is for kart rental and preparation, consumables such as fuel and oil, kart tuning, driver coaching, transportation of equipment to and from the track.

Participants are responsible for any damage to the kart that is the result of crashing, running off of the track surface, or any damage that is the result of driver error.  Participants must provide valid credit card information and agree to pay for any parts that are damaged as a result of their operation of the kart.   B.R.E. Small Engines will be responsible for providing a race ready kart, and normal maintenance.

Participants must agree to assume all risk of injury to themselves as a result of participating in the program.  It must be understood, that kart racing is a dangerous activity, and drivers participate at their own risk.

Cost of the arrive and drive program is $300 per outing.  An outing is a practice day or a regularly scheduled race day at Beaverun.  Other events may be possible at an additional charge.

We also offer maintenance, storage, transportation and arrive and drive service for people who wish to own their own kart.  Please contact us for details about these services.
