*All B.R.E. Power Prepped Racing Engines are custom built and start out with a conversation with you or your crew chief to determine how to get the most out of your engine for your application.

*We start out with a new Raptor III Briggs & Stratton Engine, disassemble it and inspect each part to insure that they were manufactured to meet our exacting standards.

*Each block is E-Z Bore align bored to insure that the cylinder is perfectly true to the center line of the crankshaft.

*The cylinder is finish honed with a torque plate and precision honed to insure that the cylinder is truly round and that the new oversize piston fits perfectly.

*Raptor III rings are custom fitted to the cylinder.

*Each block is Power Ported and Polished to improve air flow.

*CV Valve Guides are installed to guarantee valve train durability and maximum valve seal.

*The valve seats are recut to make them concentric to the new guides.  New valves are carefully lapped in to guarantee an excellent seal.

*Piston pop-up is checked and if necessary the block is decked to optimize the pop-up spec.

*The cylinder head is machined for maximum legal compression.  A blueprinted Fel-Pro head gasket seals the head to the block.

*A Dyno-Cam is selceted for your application.

*All internal parts are given our special treatment to minimize internal friction.

*The carburetor is redrilled and jetted for alcohol, the bore is taken out to the maximum legal limit, the throttle shaft is cut to the minimum thickness and the throttle stop is adjusted on our flow bench for maximum air flow and power.

*Ignition timing is set to the optimum specification for your cam using a degree wheel.

*The cam is "degreed-in" using a degree wheel.

*The correct controlled valve float is determined for your application  and the proper coil bind is meticulously set.

*Every internal part is washed squeeky clean prior to precision assembly to maximize engine life.

*A Robertson's Torque Tube is selected for your application and is supplied with your engine.

*Your engine is assembled with the following additional parts; air filter adaptor, air flter and pre-filter,  throttle linkage kit, we make sure that you get your red shipping crate, starter and decal kit that comes with your engine from the factory and an instruction sheet that tells you how to get the most from your BRE Power Prepped Series 2004 Racing Engine.
